It is a service tape but once washing machine hose is screwed on your can't operate the tape because the lever clashes with the hose fitting.

Bought this to replace a failed one - the blue plastic just turned but the tap mechanism didn't!
This one is much better quality, the blue plastic is bigger and turns very positively, it fitted in seconds and works very well so I am delighted.
PS if you need a red one, the blue part simply unclips and the red one replaces it.
