Used these to connect the flexible hoses from my sink taps, the flat face of the threaded end makes a better connection for the rubber washer.

Just the job for connecting to tap tails without damaging the sealing washer
I always like soldered rather than compression fittings, this does a great job when fitting flexible tap connector hoses. Don't use a normal compression fitting for connecting hoses as the sharp edge will cut into the rubber washers.
purchased to connect inlet side of water heater i was installing in garage utility , fitting was missing from product brought elsewhere and needed something that didn't hold job up , short length of copper and then back onto speedfit , big callout for the staff @ Rhyl Branch , goods ready and waiting using click & Collect
