Very easy to install. No cutting out section of pipe for repair , removal of chipboard floors or mess . Allowed minimal disruption in a ceiling area . Great product .
Hit a tip of nail in a 15mm buried in wall and would of been a nightmare if had to cut big hole in wall to repair,but the ring repair patch worked a treat,highly recommend

I put a screw into a 22mm copper heating pipe which resulted in water pouring through low voltage kitchen ceiling lights, so power off lighting circuit & partially drain the system, then floorboards up to assess the damage. Luckily only one easily accessible hole. This solder ring copper pipe repair patch, once cleaned & fluxed was snapped over the hole in the de-burred, cleaned & fluxed pipe and after a few minutes with the gas torch the tell-tale silvery solder line showed up around all four edges indicating the patch had worked. A real life saver for these emergencies, the patch stays put on the pipe which makes it a simpler job. After mopping up, the system was refilled & bled, the patch held & the system was back up to pressure. Fortunately the lights were undamaged, I’ll take more care in future.
Fits like a glove and stays round the pipe so you don’t have to hold it in place while you solder it in place. It’s a solder ring fitting so you only need to flux it and heat it
Great product I highly recommend. Screwed through a pipe in a tight cupboard and this made it a very easy repair

So simple I can't believe they weren't invented before (or perhaps they were?). Punctured a CH pipe, ordered this from Toolstation, by 9:30am next morning my CH was working again. Simply clean pipe, clip this on, a quick blast with a blowtorch and all fixed.
Does the job well. Excellent time saver. Make sure the pipe clean and dioxidised. Flux well and heat all around the outeard groove to heat evenly, as soon as the solder runs out you're done!
Perfect solution! It beats soldering a penny over the damage!
