Good quality fitting. Complete with correct washer, (unlike most) available. Good stock levels and ready for collection in a couple of minutes!
Never soldered before needed this type based on basin shape. Set up outside as I didn’t trust myself with having plastic panels on wall. Applied heat until solder appeared. Remember to clean with a damp cloth. Please note I still used flux on the joints. If doing multiple joints close together you’ll need to do altogether as heat travels- quickly. Fairly straight forward. Would use again.

The bottom entry cistern filler valve was so close to an obstruction that only this connector could provide a connection to the supply pipe without dismantling expensive cladding. If connecting to a plastic inlet valve, the nut should only be hand tight plus a further small amount with a spanner so as not to strip the thread.

Easy to fit and includes fibre washer
The 90 degree tap connector was good value and quality and it soldered easily. It laso had a compact size and shape, this made it fit my job where a larger radius bend might have been too big, you can always fit a small one where a large one might go, but not the other way around.
So, "a quality bit, will usually fit, it must be a hit!", as a certain ex prime minister might say (if he did plumbing) in a three beat slogan!
no leak so far. pretty easy to connect.
