Bought via Click & Collect, just what I needed as my existing valve had limescale after 25 years so wasn't shutting off fully. Straight swap out and used the old float. It seems noisy filling up which the old one didn’t? But for less than £9 I’m hoping it’s cheaper than calling a plumber out to replace old for new!!!

Initially good impressions. The castings look clean and it's fairly priced. The float arm however has a lot of play, so much so it almost missed the plastic piston on shut off. A small copper washer on the split pin solved my problem.
Simple to fit but don’t forget to have a fabric washer ready too.

Needed to replace the float valve on my mother-in-law's heating header tank. This was a like for like replacement despite the old one being over 40 years old. Hope this one lasts as long!
The float valve was a good price well made and the installation to replaced the existing valve was straight forward. A (slight) concern is over the large tolerance on the float arm's pivot which translates to a variable contact with the float valve's nylon operating 'piston'. Time will tell.

The pivot is a bit rough and ready but it works. Otherwise exactly what you would expect.
Perfect replacement part for a water tank where the customers float valve arm actually snapped off (it was several decades old ) . Excellent quality part at a very reasonable price
Standard brass valve, appears to be pretty good quality. Straight forward to install along with a ball float which you will need to get separately unless using the existing one which I wouldn’t recommend when a ball float only costs a few quid.

Far too much play in the arm's pivot, it's going to be very little wear before the end of the arm can miss the plunger as the water level rises.
