I only needed the valve body not the actual TRV head as I used a smart Thermostat. It exactly replaced my old valve (which had a too small thread for the smart Thermostat). I chose to fit it with the valve head horizontal and this worked fine.
Works as expected, good build quality, looks decent.
Seems Good quality, valve body is sturdy, used it to remove an old TRV that was leaking from around the plunger, this went on easily and the thermostatic top looks modern and stylish, very pleased with it.

I feel that this is a little bit of an unfair review as I actually didn't need the thermostat itself, just the valve as it was to fit a Tado smart radiator controller and the original valve started to leak when I disturbed it.
I did however change the whole elbow which went well. As far as an elbow with a valve goes, I have no complaints at all and would buy agian.
Radiator wasn't heating up , bled it still no joy the other valve was just over a year old decided to go pick this up and swap ,was a easy job after watching u tube vidio 5 minutes with a spanner , boom sorted, decided to change all my trv in the house as these look so nice highly recommend.

The Made4Trade Contract TRV 15mm Angled is awesome! It’s super well-made, works like a charm, and doesn’t break the bank. Installing it was a breeze, no hassle at all. Cheap and cheerful but works, was in a pickle a needed one quick and as usual Toolstation were easy to buy from and is was ready to collect almost instantly.
