Exactly what I was looking for! Enabled an easy swap from blue alkathene to 22mm barrier pipe!
This union did not fit with the outside tap made by the same manufacturers....unless of course you wanted the tap nozzle to point at 30 degrees to the vertical, completely missing the drain & useless. Of course it could also point upwards too but what it could not do is simply point towards the ground vertically. The thread on the tap and this back plate were incompatible.
