These Made for trade compression fittings seem fine to me, no difference from the ones Toolstation sold before this brand came along. Solid brass, well made with copper olives. With compression fittings there is no need for a blow torch and unlike push fit the pipes are locked into place and won't rotate. If the pipes are new and everything is clean and if you tighten these correctly there is no need for PTFE tape or jointing compound.
