Used this to fit a drain cock with a 15mm shank to a chromed 15mm pipe. I would normally have used a Tee with a 1/2" BSP branch to fit a screwed drain cock, but such chromed Tees are hard to find. This arrangement was actually better, as the branch compression joint meant the drain off cock could be oriented in any position, and easily adjusted after installation .
