I’ve had two of these basin wastes of this type for the two basins in my home ,they work a treat and no problems .They don’t leak.
Brought this to replace old one is a excellent product no need to use sealant or plumbers mait The washers supplied do the job and make it watertight just take care not to overtighten
Easy swap with existing looks good comes with all bits needed

With the silicone rubber washer on a clean hand basin they seal without the need for a sealant , so you can test and walk away after a quick water test

As others have said, what makes this waste trap so good is the washers it uses which means you get a perfect seal without having to use silicone or plumbers mate. This means it can be fitted in minutes and no mess at all. I also like the fact the securing nut is plastic so will not rust on to the fixing which my old one did and resulted in me having to use an angle grinder to remove. So impressed with this that I bought two more to do the other basins in my house.

Excellent quality and easy to fit. Although it comes with silicone washers, I used Plumbers Mait to make sure there were no leaks. One week on and still no leaks.
Brilliant product. No messy sealant required and no drips. It's adjustable too so should last longer than the old one.
Used this to replace an existing pop-up plug that had broken. Easy to install for a diy'er and sealed without the use of silicon. Looks good and works well.
Easy replacement for a DIYer. No need for any sealant, as the seals are good after a tighten with a plumbers spanner jobbie.
When the old pop up broke off I was able to order this, collect it and have it fitted before work.

This is a great piece of kit. It's very easy to install and the only one that I have ever used that didn't leak. Use some washing up liquid on the thread to make screwing on the seal easier. An absolute doddle for a DIY installer to use. I highly recommend it.

The soft conical seal works well. No problem installing.
This is an excellent sink plug/plunger, no need to silicon around bottom or upper thread. Position perpendicular and tighten - all done customer pleased.
