At around a fiver, it does what it says on the tin. Had problems recently with the chroming so changed manufacturer. I'll see if this is any better.

Simple is best and this proves it. I’ve had trouble with all types of plugs before, pop up, swivel, push rod etc and they all clog up with hair and get that horrible build up of what looks like fish skin underneath. This is made worse by having a wife with a huge nest on her head. The signs of a build up are always slow draining.
So I decided to go right back to basics and get this. Very easy to fit with no silicone needed, the rubber seals are perfect. Basin drains like a real ‘sink hole’ and any hair is easy to remove from the hole punched grate.
Cheap and cheerful waste and plug fitting. Quick service.
Good quality and value but be aware - not all basin wastes are the same length. This one is about 76mm long. The one that it was supposed to replace was 91mm long. Check before buying.

Perfect fit, really good quality and value for money!
Easy to fit once old plug was removed which due to silicon was a pain. But once all cleaned up new was fitted easily

Great replace for an old discoloured basin waste. Simple to fit and complete with all washers and seals. The plug seems a little tight but sure this will free off with time
Seems OK only bought it to get a new plastic nut for my existing waste but no longer seem to be available
Gone back in time with this as our original, modern, 'pop-up' one had seazed, due the the (very) hard water in our area. Excellent value.
A very good product readily available in store and online at a reasonable price.
The outlet fitted perfectly without leaks first time. But the plug itself is cheap plastics with a chrome cover. It tends not to stay in place and doesn't seal very well. I have purchased a std 1.5" chrome plug which doesn't fit (too small), so the outlet is an odd size.
