First time using a head torch bought it for fitting skirting boards, coving and painting. I’m 76 years old
should have bought one years ago as my near eye sight is not great. Maybe a cool white might be more effective than the warm white but still happy with this product. Would recommend this product.
An exerlent head torch, the beam is a bit to focussed, to look into it is blinding.
Great device for the money, the ability to select low power to save the battery is good. The PIR sensor to switch on/off is quite smart but takes some getting used too. The tilt facility is very useful as well. Battery life seems good as well.
Bought one of these a few years ago and its as good as other brands I've had. Great value

Excellent for the price, lots of different features and the basic white light setting is bright enough for most situations. Battery life seems good and head fit is comfortable.

I would confidently recommend this product because:
. the clocks have changed and I haven't found a more suitable way to work in the dark - especially in unlit roof spaces - when there is no mains supply nearby for my work lights
. it's extremely convenient; cable-free and illuminates whatever I'm looking towards
. it's light in weight, has an adjustable headband and is comfortable to wear (for several hours) and offers forward-facing, hands-free operation
. the light fitting has a ratchet adjustment allowing it to be angled downwards up to 60 degrees
. the white 3W main LED (6500K) has several functions including: White: On> Bright> Less bright> Strobe/flashing> Off
. the two smaller red LEDs - positioned either side of the main LED - have the following sequence: On> Strobe/flashing> Off (good for cyclists/walkers perhaps?)
. when activated, the PIR movement detection sensor switches the lamp on and off automatically ... may be useful for some users but not me
. the unit has a 3.7V 1200mAh rechargeable battery with a recharge time of 2.5 hours. The stated working time is dependent on the function selected from min 3 hours to max 20 hours
. a 460mm charging cable is supplied with a USB Type A 2.0 male plug at one end and a micro B male plug at the other.
No charger is included; you'll need a standard 5V DC adaptor with USB Type A (female) output socket.
Conclusion: all in all a useful addition to my tool collection - as long as I DON'T misplace the cable. I'm an Apple device user (iPhone, MacBook, iPad). Consequently, I don't have any other cables that use a micro B plug.
Note: Micro USB charging cables are still in use, especially for many budget smartphones, older devices, and a variety of accessories like power banks, streaming devices, and certain professional equipment. A standard Micro-B plug (USB 2.0) measures 6.85mm in width, 1.8mm in height, and 6.0mm in depth.
While USB-C is the newer and more modern standard for most new devices like smartphones and laptops, the prevalence of older and less expensive products means that Micro USB remains relevant for the foreseeable future.

A surprisingly good head torch for the price. Nice and bright but quite narrow beam. The ability to tilt the beam down is very useful. Light and comfy to wear. It charges quickly too. Ideal when cutting in a light coloured paint between a wall and white ceiling. The red light mode would be useful for preserving night vision if the torch was used at night. The PIR and strobe modes are more of a nuisance than a feature, but Luceco probably use a common control module across a range of devices. Overall, a great head torch for the price.
Nice and light great beam distance charges quickly
Fantastic head torch & very bright with a few different settings, 1 single charge will almost last a full working day. Only slight niggle i have about this head torch is sometimes the head unit can come undone from the strap if nocked the wrong way.
Great effective head torch with flip motion for looking down etc when undertaking low down jobs. Holds a charge and easy to charge.
