Cost effective but very effective small bulkhead light. Plastic construction but perfect for intended use.
It's effective for such a small lamp. If you've got more than one set of wires going into it you will struggle with the join box but you have space to put a bigger one in. Don't knock out more than one hole as they only provide one grommit.
These bulkheads are very nice easily installed and nice and bright I fitted 3 and am very pleased with them

I needed to replace a failed tungsten bulkhead fitting. This was an excellent replacement, looks very smart, and provides an excellent spread of bright white light. Easy to fit and wire, and can be fitted to either a wall or ceiling.

As the terminals are accessed through a rear cover, it is not suitable for connection to rigid conduit. The knock outs are 16-mm for which fittings to IP54 for 16-mm flexible conduit are extremely rare. I machined my own from a bar of glass filled Nylon 6, but how many others can.
All 'points' require a terminal for a protective conductor, even if they are double insulated, incase in the future it is changed for one that does and the person is too lazy to pull a protective conductor in. The item is 'CE' marked but not marked for compliance with a BS. Is it compliant? The terminal block is two way, but held by pins which take a 3-way. The easy solution is to change the terminal block.
Otherwise, I have no complaints for the price.
