Smart looking Escutcheon and the cover stops the draughts!
Why would each store only stock one of these as you need to purchase a pair,?.
Just what I needed, a little stiff at first but I suppose it will soon loosen off, one thing to note was the screws were a little to long & came into conflict with the lock on a 45mm door, 2mins on the grinder reduced them to the correct size😀😀
On the positive side, the chrome plating is very good and shiny. The rivet holding it all together is too tight so the cover plate is very stiff to open but it also pokes through the backplate so you need to drill out the door to accommodate. The screws provided are poorly made and are way too long as they hit the lock before being tight. As a bonus, plastic rawl plugs are provided in case your door is made of brick or concrete.
With judicious bending and greasing it is possible to make this fit and work.
For the price it does a neat job. Easy to install and swings neatly. Added a chubb lock to the shed and this fits the keyhole lovely.
