Excellent direct to metal paint. I've used it on exterior metal and it seems to last well. Takes a while to dry but it dries smooth.
Used this on a greenhouse base, good coverage and easily applied, but you have to make sure the you mix well prior to application to ensure even colour. Can be used without primer but I had already primed metal, whether that makes any difference, will have to wait and see.
This is excellent paint. It covered my shabby garage door in one coat, applied with a gloss roller. I gave the surface a good sanding down before application. The finish is smooth and high gloss. I would definitely recommend.
Easy apply, good cover, easy clean down and product doing what is stated on specification.
Does a good gob, high build on old pitted metal & good gloss recoat in two hours . Best job if old loose paint is removed prior to painting.
great metal paint much better than others on the market, would buy again.
Excellent product- does exactly what it says on the tin.
Great product and does exactly what it says on the tin!
Good coverage and nice gloss finish. Takes a while to dry as its solvent based.
Ideal for cast iron rain ware and garage door even good on wood
This paint is for my gates the paint quality is excellent as used approximately 5 years ago, now requires repainting.
Great paint. Good coverage and easy to apply. Drys quite fast for a solvent-based paint too
First class paint. Bought it to repaint a caravan mover and after the first caravan holiday it is holding up well.
Easy to apply, dried evenly and took the second coat without any problems.
Add a bit of thinners, sprays really nicely.
Goes on very nicely with a brush, top all round paint.
We use it on most of our gates and handrails.
Very good paint, coverers very well, used on aluminium roof copping
Goes on nicely and covers well, however this paint dried extremely glossy for me on clean mild steel sheet. I bought it for its semi-gloss finish so I can't say I'm not slightly disappointed in the result
Have painted our balcony with this Leyland black metal paint. Found it to be more superior to Hammerite. So much so, that our neighbour asked what we'd used, and could we paint her balcony!? So we sanded down and painted 2 coats of Leyland on her balcony. Neighbour very pleased. A superb coverage. Goes on well on the metal. Would highly recommend.
