I bought this paint to freshen up the window sills. Following sanding the sills, the paint goes on really well and the finish is well impressive.
I'm a DIY'er and not a professional.
I originally bought the oil based version of this paint and was disappointed that it took over 24 hours to set. The water based version not only dried in 2 hours but was much easier to apply and covered better. I will use this in future!
Not as nice as there normal gloss wasnt really impressed and disappointed
Excellent cover, easy to use and flows well and smell is very acceptable
Good quality product, would be 5 stars but it took longer to dry than the instructions stated. Otherwise it looks great and easy to use.
Really impressive paint. Covers well and good finish.
Easy to apply excellent finish that’s tough and durable
Excellent service here ☆☆☆☆☆
Very friendly workers ☆☆☆☆☆
Decent, and does exactly what it says on the tin!!
Paint never seems to be such good value these days - like mince - but this one applied well, dried quickly and was easy to clean off the brush. Whether it holds its 'brilliant white' lustre remains to be seen, as most gloss paints I've used quickly take on that familiar jaundiced look.
I've tried quick dry "high gloss" from the top brands ( D & C) they either dry too quick & if you try to" brush out" you're picking the paint back off & leaving a terrible finish.Or it's too thin & the undercoat shows through, leaving a satin, brush stroke finish.
Leyland quick dry paint goes on alot better. You get chance to "brush out" but at the end of the day it's still "quick dry" so don't take too much time over it.
I actually went over a certain area with a second coat ( that is seen all the time) & i was well impressed with the finish & gloss,it was like using oil based paint,but....it won't go yellow.
This will definitely be my 1st choice of gloss paint in the future (until Leyland improve on it)
Great Covers well, good white, brush easy to clean
Good coverage and hardly any smell. Really good coverage.
Excellent paint, fast drying and no problems with brush lines
the best quick dry i have used . a good gloss finish , brushes wash out in tap water .
Really thin and messy, initially used with a foam roller which left air bubbles in the finish, then switched to a fine bristle brush which improved a touch but still not great, required two coats on previously glossed doors. Left it to dry, sanded again and used traditional gloss to complete the job.
Cant recommend other than doesn't smell and dries quickly but needs two coats so no quicker than usual.
Great coverage and quick drying time, leaves a nice gloss finish.
Use with Leyland Water Based Undercoat for several years
Interesting to use this paint good bits no odour good white colour when dry quick drying.Bad bits really thin when using do not over brush or you take the paint with you. Dose not go far as solvent based gloss. If you have a lot to do have a couple of brushes ready as it’s quick drying you will need to regular wash brush out
Decent coverage, good finish, easy to clean up, easy to apply as long as you don't over brush it - brush or roller it on and leave it, dries quite quickly and seems robust even after a few years hard use.
