Needed lights to replace 10yr old bulbs. These are bright but seem good so far. Can't get dimmer any more, but hey
Purchased four 4.9w GX53 LED's. Given 1 x 4.9w and 3 x 6w. 6 mile round trip to return and exchange. Given 4 x 4.9w only to find 2 x cool white and 2 x warm white. Cool white isn't even stocked, so supplier error. Another 6 mile round trip to return for a refund. Purchased alternative from competitor... correct products first time.
Works as needed. Gives off nice light. What else needed?
Lights as described, hard to find and couldn’t find any stock, TS had them for next day collection.
LED GX53 Lamp 4.9W 470lm bought to replace an existing CFL GX53 version. Definitely much brighter and makes a massive difference
Discovered after purchase that this light fits a specific base holder. And Toolstation doesn’t sell them… will have to buy by mail order. The description should make this clear. And it would be helpful if Toolstation sold them!
Found this lamp at a very reasonable price and had it in my hand within the hour with click and collect. Excellent.

Replaced existing under cupboard fluorescent lamps directly. Plugged straight in and give a brilliant light.
Using these at 500mm centres under kitchen wall cupboards and get a really strong, even, light. OK, they are not dimmable, but the dimmable GX53s I bought were 25% dimmer to begin with, and a top-of-the-range dimmer switch lost another 25% even at full brightness - so a dimmable tube connected to a dimmer was under 60% of the brightness of these.
Wanted a warm lamp for a desk light, this is a good warm light and very bright for my old eyes.
Great LED drop in, good soft white light & an improvement over older CFL types. Hoping the reliability is good. I did note the light ran fairly warm but, heat sinking seems to be thought out with the cooling fins.
I am extremely pleased with these lamps very good illumination.
This bulb is good value. But the warm white light was to orange.
Bought these and I am very happy with them will buy again excellent value for the money
