nice hose ideal for the job to pump out septic tank
I gave it one star because i bought it at £10.64 and was charged £18.64 (my wife went to the store with my order form and just got it all). I took it back a day or so later only to be told that is the latest price. Catalogues are apparently printed in advance but an 80% increase ,i feel, is taking the proverbial. The guy who served me was very understanding about it and offered me a refund. Which i accepted.
So there we are i never got to try the hose! p.s. Your main competitor is a couple of quid cheaper than you.!!!!!
Good quality and best price, this is a well made hose that came out as the best price around.
Works well, but you have to prime to get the hose to fill with water. Hard work on a vertical rises but good when on the horizontal
Purchased the product as the discharge hose for a wash down pump at the sailing club, only used it max 4 times to test the pump, unfortunately after only a short amount of use the hose sprang a leak, not up to the job, too fragile. Retuned it to the store and replaced it with the yellow hose which is described as heavy duty, haven't tried it yet!
it lays flat and stores nicely. dose not bend well. needs to be striat.

Perfect for the job, but I do wonder how long it will last. It's not as heavyweight as the lay flat hose sold by others, but they're over 50% more expensive admittedly.

Wasnt sure about a flat hose for our pump.! With lots of use and been driven over and walked on. I am very impressed withe the quality. Price, lenght and easy to join to another hose with a no split or holes as yet.
Used this with a Clarke 2" pump to remove 150,000 ltr flood water, it was sufficiently light, yet sturdy to do the job. Previously I had a heavy duty hose, that proved too heavy when full of water. This was a perfect combination of quality and strength for the join without excessive weight. Easy to use, it is flexible enough under cold weather conditions to roll out and retrieve after use.
Not a lot to say it's a flat hose that does its job with pump
When I'm not pumping out flood water I can now pretend to be a fireman with my big hose. It's a dream come true.
