I am reviewing this without having used it yet, but it looks good value for whats included, its not a workshop professional tool (Which likely costs at least 3 times more) but it looks like a good tool for a DIY hobby type user which can come in handy for a number of uses apart from bleeding brakes or testing a unit that requires a vacuum. It does hold a vacuum when I sealed off the attached pipe, so it should work fine
I’m a one person band and this tool makes life so easy. You can pay three times as much with virtually no gain.
Fair price and vacuum pump kit worked as expected.
The vacuum tester/brake bleed kit is OK - I used it for brake bleeding. The way the bleed nipples work on most cars means they work best with positive pressure, the vacuum method means that a lot of air is drawn through with less fluid than you might expect. I combined footpedal pressure with vacuum to ensure air-free brake action. On the downside the nyloc nut that holds the whole thing together came undone - the threaded section of the piston shaft is too short. To repair and re-assemble was a hassle as the pivot pin has to be driven out and everything dismantled to get the nut back on the shaft. 20 minutes unnecessary work in the middle of a brake bleed job
Excellent piece of kit, comes with a comprehensive array of tubes and fittings
Very well packaged, very quick delivey and product is exactly as described
This product is absolute rubbish leaking immediately from its “sealed” body. I tried the return procedure but had to give up! I have dumped the product in recycling.
Useful vacuum pump but relatively costly, accessories
The vacuum pump works really well a good investment
