This scotia is made of compressed fibre and is not that dense which means when cutting it, it tends to leave a slightly 'furry' edge. The wood effect covering also tends to leave a white edge when cut. But having said that it does the job and isn't that expensive.
Colour was nothing like the photo- item was returned for a refund

Good quality scotia beading. Came as a 10 pack with each length 2.4m long packaged in Very long cardboard tube.. so very easy to transport. Got it in my A3 no problem. Cutting it was very easy if you know your angles. Luckily intake snooker player!! Most of all it looks great.

Very easy to work with and cut, stands out enough from the skirting to cover the ends of laminate or engineered wood flooring. Looks good against my oak planks and you get a lot for your money.
Easy to work with and almost a perfect colour match
Although it was labelled as ‘oak’ it wasn’t as a good match to the boards. Otherwise it was easy to work with being mfg.

Basically cardboard with veneer on. The veneer comes off easily, but on the other hand if you're runnning out of money at the end of a house renovation....
Comes in a very tough cardboard tube.
