This product replaced an older product where the paint had started to peel. Overall I found the product to be of good quality and value for money. I had one issue though, the tail threads on one of the legs was not square which would have caused a problem with a standard tail as I was fitting to existing pipework but as I used flexible extension tails I was able to seal.

Well the item works that's the positive, however there were 2 covers missing and the screw nut on the top wouldn't seal so we had to use one from the old one. As this towel radiator box had been opened prior to me purchasing it ( didn't bother me at the time) and finding issues when it was fitted I now question if it had been sold and returned or bits removed for other customers. Toolstation did provide covers but they didn't fit, fed up of messing about now going to buy a full fitting kit.

Tip, it does say in the instructions to wrap 6 loops of tape round the threads before screwing them in. And it needs at least 6.
The small securing screws for the wall fixings are very fiddly to screw in properly.
But once fitted it looks the part.

As I had Plumbers in fitting 4 new Radiators for me, I decided at the last minute to replace the Towel Rail as well. I had to collect other Joints etc., so decided to add this to the list. Now fitted and happy with its appearance and Heat Output. Reasonably Priced too.
This item was a perfect replacement to my old leaking towel rail.
Nice size for a downstairs cloakroom toilet. Equipped with all the necessary fixings. The only additional things youll need is a pair of chrome rad valves to finish it off.
Looks good, and is perfect for our new downstairs bathroom
