The smooth surfaces near the tip of the pliers allows you to grip single cores with damaging them and the serrated surfaces allow for gripping flat or rounded materials.  The outside edge is clear-cut to allow for working on junction boxes that are flush to the surface and deburring feed-through holes.
The pliers are capable for stripping for conductors of 0.75 - 1.5 mm² and 2.5 mm² while the crimping die for wire ferrules 0.5 - 2.5 mm².
The cable shears with (induction-hardened) precision cutting edges for copper and aluminium cables up to 5 x 2.5 mm² / dia. 15 mm, and all within a slim hand tool that allows for easy access to the most difficult of locations.
