I used this to connect a dishwasher, the old connector was a mess and leaking.
I cut the pipe and cleaned with wire wool made sure there were no burrs on it and then pushed the connector on. Turned the stop tap on slowly at first then full. I have never had a problem with JG speedfit preparation of the pipe is key.

Old fridge freezer died and new one being delivered…disconnected the water for the filtered water and ice and…the old valve faulty and water leaking out!
Needed a new one fast as I had less than an hour before the new appliance is being delivered. Jumped onto Toolstation and they had one in stock. Ordered online and confirmation texted within minutes. Drove down (Bath) and back and fitted just as the new appliance was being delivered. Connected just in time for the new one to be installed.
