Useful fitting for connecting blue water pipe to an outside tap
If you need one - then you gotta pay the 14 quid. It works fine but comparing it with the 20 year old one that failed because 'someone' over tightened the bib tap and stripped the plastic threads, the plastic of the new one is much thinner than the old one.and the back fixing plate is much smaller. Does it do the job? - yes. Is it worth 14 quid? - No. You can buy 2 unbranded ones on Ebay WITH bib taps for 19 quid
Simple to fit Toolstation where cheaper than other places
The fitting works well and is so easy and simple to fit.
Worked really well, easy to fit quality is good, looks good. Pricey but cheaper than completitors.
Had a leak on outside tap , fed from blue plastic pipe, picked this Speedfit elbow up from Toolstation, easy to fit, good quality cured in no time
Excellent product. Easy to fit. Worth the extra money paid. Would highly recommend
Easy to use.
Expensive, but more reliable than the screw fittings.
The threads are quite soft, so make sure you don’t cross-thread them.
I've used a few of these JG wall plates and they are the best plastic ones available. The biggest difficulty is getting a good seal whilst getting the tap straight. Packing the back end of the bib tap thread with PTFE tape helps.
Excellent, no leaks, easy connection
Does what it says on the tin
Good product and easy to install
Very easy to connect. Plastic is quite soft and made a good seal to the brass tap using PTFE tape.
Just what I wanted for the job in hand
I love these JG Speedifit fittings. They are so reliable and easy to use, worth paying a little bit more for the quality.
Easy install - works perfectly
Just worked with no leaks
