Used to block of outlet from downpipe to water butt, so butt doesn't overflow. Toolstation were the only place I could find 20mm end stop
Great at stopping flooding - we had a burst water supply pipe with no shut off valve. Water flowing everywhere - ruined the driveway. But, dug a hole, found the burst MDPE pipe and a quick half hour in the car to Toolstation, grabbed one of these, half hour back - a freezing cold soaking trying to get the stop end fitted and done!!! Only lost around 3,500 litres of water!

When you’re in a tight space this is exactly what you want for ear and speed. I was doing my pipe work in stages and amazing how easy it was to remove and use again. Of course, time will tell how long it lasts with regards to leaks but I’m optimistic.
