Did a job using these and even when all they had was water in with minimal pressure there were various random leaks. Not good enough imo.

Brilliant item better than the screw tight ones as I lost the outer bit down the hole when using one of the own brand ones and that made the job longer and harder than it needed to be and if I knew that Toolstation kept these in stock I would have gone there straight away and got this as everywhere else they are next day only and that is annoying when you have cut the pipe on a customers property and can't tighten the screw one tighter enough to seal due to the lack of space around the fitting and if I had this from the start after cutting the pipe which was hard enough to do it would have taken a further 2 minutes to fit this rather than the 2 hours it took to initially keep trying to seal the compression one and find somewhere with this in stock
Looks like a solid product but i couldn't use it in the end as the insertion length is too long (75mm ish?). The 25mm stub pipe left sticking out of the meter was too short to guarantee full insertion, so went for a compression fitting instead.
Brilliant! Easy to install, not cheap but you get what you pay for. Worth every penny.

The quickest way to make straight joins in MDPE pipe, particularly where space is tight. Simple to fit - works perfectly first time with no bits to drop or contaminate with soil etc. Rapid, reliable joints every time.
Excellent. Doubt it could be better. Make sure both ends of the MDPF pipe are properly cut and fitted with pipe inserts (also by JDS), insert into connector and check for leaks. Perfect.
