great price for something that makes life a lot easier
Well I've uses JG Speedfit for many years and generally think they're great.
This is one star in the hope that JG will improve quality control. My fully packaged stopcock was sent without grip-rings. Working in a dim place, the only indication that maybe it was odd was how easily it slipped on. Shame I didn't twig.
Later, when cleaning up the mess after the inevitable blow-out, I was able to consider giving Speedfit a low rating for only this reason.
Leaked as soon as I opened the valve. I'll be returning it next week.
Easy to fit just remember to buy the colours with it
Needed a quick and efficient way to stop or cut off water flow, without resorting to using compression couplings or blow torch to braze soldered joints
Installed this on me new bathroom, no issues, a quick easy job. Closed the valve to do some plumbing, and it got jammed. So I had to return it just 24 hours after. Replaced it with another of the same, and it was stuck coming from bag. So I got Speedfit isolation valve instead, which works well without issues.
Easy to install and does the job I brought it for.
Brilliant, original copper pipe in and I use plastic to come out the other side, went straight on no issues.
Fantastic. Easy to use. No need to Burr pipes. No need for tape or dope. No upper body strength needed, phew!
Brand name quality product, easy to install and does the job
Customer and noone in neighborhood had idea where are external stop taps for houses. I just cuted old stopcock, pushed this one on and closed it. Perfect solution if you can't close main valve and have not enough length of pipe to freeze.
