These 20mm push fit fittings are the best ever.
Had to tee into a live 20mm pipe in a farmers field.
Simply cut the pipe and pushed the fitting on.
Had to do the joint live so thought I’d use a speed fit. And it failed on the left side water everywhere. So they pull off they say. On the videos looks so easy in real life awkward situations they do not pull off easy at all tried all sorts, Stillwater going every where. Took it off checked I’d cut the pipe square made sure pipe insert was in correctly. Tried again but it failed again. Had to leave and go to the shop and buy a normal one. Water still running. Fitted the old type job done. So like I said never again will I use a speed fit. Can’t rely on them.

Smart fittings, looks nice, and perform well although time will tell. Can recommend

Inserted the pipe and heard a snap, wouldn't even hold the residual water in the pipe thereafter, easy to demount the fitting all the same. Thankfully a friend had one in his van as TS only normally stock one per branch. Normally trust John Guest fittings but I think this was a freak manufacturing fault. TS were as good as gold when it came to the refund.
I bought these fittings just the other day and found them very quick and easy to use. Will use them again
