Bought for a DIY project. Great purchase, worked as expected.
Easy to fit and was pleased with it to start with. However when I needed to isolate the water a couple of years later, the screw head split. Not helpful 😒
These are perfectly good isolating valves for hot/cold water systems BUT, contrary to what is indicated in the graphics, they are NOT suitable for central heating!
I did get a no-quibble refund though…
Does just what you'd expect from JG Speedfit. Quick and easy installation along with full bore isolation and smooth effortless screwdriver operation. It's perhaps not the cheapest isolating valve but it's certainly the easiest to install.
Why have I only just discovered these !!!! Was unsure if they would work however I am now a plumber !!!! I’m not really obviously
Perfect isolation , replaced one with plastic screwdriver shredded
First one i have used easy to install no leaks happy to use again
Easy to fit. Much better replacement having the steel on off screw. Makes it easy to operate.
So easy to use especially in tight spaces, do not use on central heating due to temperature restrictions
I'm a DIYer having not done much plumbing for a few years, so decided to give these push fit fittings a go when putting in a downstairs loo. Wow how much simpler, cut pipe, insert insert, push into fitting.
Seems to work ok - maybe I'll win that £100 by leaving this review?
I bought JG Speedfit as they were recommended and they were much better than the previous push fit kit I'd used.

Used on inlet pipe to small header tank. Experienced in using JG products, but instructions non-existent for this product. Warning! it does not twist-click lock like other JG products it is just push-fit only, and that is a pretty hefty push at that. Glad I elected to use JG Superseal Pipe Inserts.
