Very easy tool to make 90° bends in continuous plastic pipe
Good value for the price . Does what it needs to do
What a great idea to reduce the need to make extra cuts to your pipes. Simple to fit and accomodaye the pipe. They look neat and tidy on the wall too. Recommendation given by plumber and will use again.
Had a customer who’s flexi from a shower pump split. It was being pulled at to tight an angle by the existing plastic pipe. Used this to form it into a bend relieving the angle
Perfect for tight spaces when you don't want to hide an awkward elbow.
Despite what you may be told, these are worth using to hold the pipe in a tight radius.
Ideal for forming bends in Speedfit Pipe. Well made and strong.
Does exactly what it should do however these are expensive so similar cost to using a JG equal 90 elbow
Essential for tight bends and a bit costly compared to other outlets but at least Toolstation had it in stock.
I had a serious speedfit leak, which was where a pipe was at quite an angle to a joint, I retro fitted this to help the existing joints be more in line, it was under the kitchen plinth, but very hard to bend the pipe to fit. Would be easier of first fitting.
Essential for installing normal plastic plumbing in confined space where a tight bend is required
I used these to get a nice sweeping bends under the floor instead of using elbow connectors in inaccessible places.
They are very expensive for what they are.
These can get a little pricey for what they are, particularly if you need a lot of them, but are excellent for getting a pipe round a corner in an area that will eventually be inaccessible. In floors, in ceilings and in floor voids these are a brilliant way to achieve what you need to achieve without the worry of possible future leaks.
I have used a lot of these over the last few years. I like to use them where I need a tight bend in the pipe and do not want to use a fitting. I particularly like to use them if the bend will be in an inaccessible place as there is no chance of a leak. The last ones that I bought this time will be behind kitchen units so I do not want any chance of a leaking fitting.
They are really good, Toolstation should keep lots in stock.
allowed me to have 90 degree bend in a location i did not want an elbow so there is no connections in a never to be seen again location, less joins always good, this allows you to been the speedfit pipe much tighter than you thought.
Does what it says and potentially saves the cost of an elbow fitting, and that I assume is how they set the price, probable 'true cost' less than 10p to manufacture.
Avoid loads of joints in barrier and plastic pipes not just JG Speedfit but other brands too. Works a treat providing a nice smooth 90 degree curve. Not as tight fitting as an elbow of course. Reasonable price.
