Nut was too long to fit on to the toilet fill, and touched the nut under the cistern. This meant the washer didn’t seal, and water sprayed out. I cut 3mm off the nut so that the washer would seat and seal.
For speed and efficiency you cannot do better than speedfit
I needed to connect a WC cistern to mains water the pipe of which was in an awkward place and would have required a pipe bender ( not worth the cost for one job) or a few solder joints but again because of the mains position I was not really able to use a blow torch this flexi hose did the job with ease
