This is a replacement for one that I lost. This one has an improved grip and is jolly sharp, I cut my finger brushing away the sawdust. Cut through 1 inch (25mm) ply really well.
Nice little handy saw, used it for multiple jobs, completed all tasks with ease.
Cracking little saw. recent purchase is a replacement. Most useful, and most used handsaw in my kit- the long saws barely get an outing now
Perfect saw for small DIY tasks in the house. Used Irwin saws for years due to competitive pricing and longevity of the blade/ teeth. Couldn’t ask for a better saw!
My favourite saw. Very effective, easy to control and competitively priced.
Needed something for my work bag, this fits the need. If it had a plastic blade guard (I’ll make that) it would be perfect.
Easy to use, quite sharp, short enough to fit any tool box. Excellent choice.
Used this saw to cut the bottom off a christmas tree trunk. Went through like a hot knife through butter.
A great general purpose saw, whose shorter blade is a great 'jobbing' panel saw. It isn't for fine accuracy as the coarse tooth means it can wander when being drawn backwards to start the cut, but it tackle a range of materials, even ripping through some sheet materials when in the middle of a job waiting for the battery to charge.
Flipping heck this is crossed between a samurai sword and a angry crocodile its that sharp I lock it in a safe away from untrained individuals absolute weapon in untrained hands stay safe guys xx
Handy saw that I keep with my toolbag. Find myself taking one of these to most jobs.
Bought the saw to get into awkward places and have to say, it is doing a great job.
The blade with the handle should be 90°, to mark directly, but does not have at all 90°
Reasonable Saw, required for rough sawing, have had better, but maybe not at this price
Excellent little toolbox Jack saw, very useful, easy to use, very sharp and fits easily into a small toolbox
These saws are some of the best value saws around. I have had one for 10 years, it has seen hard use including the miserable, saw-blunting task of sawing chipboard, but has finally become rather too blunt for "best" use. These are "hard point" saws, the teeth being very hard, sharp and durable, but, when they finally wear down, they cannot be resharpened. Therefore, I have purchased this new one for "best", and the old one has been hearlessly demoted for less-critical work and sawing in places where it might encounter grit, filler or a nail etc. Penultimately, (the cruellest fate for any old saw) it will be sentenced to the damnation of being used for sawing plasterboard, until it becomes just a convenient piece of spring steel to be cannibalized for scrap.
These may not be the very classiest tool for tool-cultists, saw-fetishists or gracing the shrines to woodcutting that woodwork-anoraks make of their workshops, but they are excellent quality for DIY and trade purposes, will take several years of hard use, and, being competitively priced, they therefore represent outstanding value for money. At just under a tenner for a perfectly decent saw it's really not worth buying a cheaper one. The (slightly unusual) 14" size is also (in my view) particularly handy and comfortable size to use.
My go to multi use saw for wood & plastic.
I’ve always found this saw to be comfortable to handle & Always have one in my toolbox.
A short saw like this is best for me, and it is very good
Great saw and great price brought to cut down a dead bush done it with such ease very happy with my purchase!
Handle's well made good all round saw would recommend this
