This is a very sharp saw . I only gave 4 Star because the handle being just a plastic as not much of the grip you need when cutting pulling the saw , other than that I was able to make some nice precise cuts with it.
Cuts well. The flexible blade is great combined with the finer cut. I don't much like the plastic handle but it is easily removed - presumably to change the blade which makes it a little environmentally sustainable. I would have one of these over a tenon saw any day. This is mu new. best friend (saw wise).
Solid enough wee saw. Good value for money. Used it on project with rough sawn timber and it's still going strong.
Perfect for trimming down a door frame after tiling
Been looking at one of these for a while now , read some great reviews on it , so decided to buy one , and I'm not disappointed , lovely sharp and precise cutting from the double sided blade , and great price from Toolstation , highly recommend buying one of these
Surprisingly easy to use and very accurate cuts, I love it
Great double sided pullsaw, ideal for cut off tasks, on timber edges or dowls close to a surface as the blade is very flexible. Finer tooth pitch works great on MFC with less chips. However trying to rip larger / longer timber sections this may not be ideal as the pull stroke will cover any lines with sawdust. Certainly easier to master manual cutting compared to a standard saw.
Excellent pullsaw, would definitely recommend buying one
Cutting on the pull stroke is strange at first, but reduces the force applied and limits the break-out for a smoother cut. Thin double sided blade with choice of TPI. Brilliant!
Should have bought one sooner, really great tool for accurate and quick cuts. TS had the best price on this and gotnot for me the next day, perfect
The thing about Japanese pull saws as the name implies you pull instead of pushing the blade. This means the blade can be much thinner allowing for much finer cutting. The saw has a fine tooth patern on on side an a course on on the other. I highly recommend this saw, every toolbox should have one.
Sawing seems more intuitive using one of these. My cuts are a lot more precise, straight and clean. It's much easier to get the cut going, and the flat face allows me to keep the cut as straight as possible. The long handle is helpful in allowing longer strokes which makes short work of cutting.
Great saw, does just what I wanted. Seems good quality.
Very easy and efficient to use for stright intricate cuts
Great little saw, at a great price. Highly recommended
Picked up today and only used the fine side so far. Good and adaptable
