Just the job and versatile for use for joining cable.
I needed this for a small PIR light which cm with a pre-installed lead which was too short. The junction box is under an eave which prevents direct rain, so perfectly adequate. Plenty of holes to suit any cable layout. I particularly liked the elegant design feature at the fixing points, to allow a cable tie to fasten the box to a pole or anything, without screws - a cost-free convenience, even if I didn't need it.
Best to buy with out terminal interlocking connectors .
I feel the terminals are poor quality.

Good but not excellent.
Excellent value but, while the box is perfect, I was unable to use the terminals provided. These require insertion of the wires into both sides simultaneously. Not easy when on top of ladder, so I used my own "choc bloc" connectors.
