Made of very thin aluminium it bends very easily and I doubt it would last long. The plate also doesn't fit close to the door so it will make zero difference to drafts. I couldn't see any point in fitting so returned to store.
Good price and sealed the letter box and a plus it looks good
Unbelievably cheaply made, even for the price. Material so thin that looking at it is pretty much enough to distort it and I spent a lot of time during installation bending it back into shape to get it to close properly. One of the rivets holding the flap to the mounting bracket kept falling out. Even when installed correctly, the top of the flap has a big gap to the door that lets the draft through. Quickly gave up on this and got an alternative (27379) instead. Twice the price, but this is only £4 more for much sturdier construction, a sprung flap and a draft-excluding brush.
Not The easiest to fit, Screw's aren't any good for hardwood doors Kept striping the heads
had to buy better screws. very poor.
Rubbish, looks very cheap, doesn't fit well with existing aluminium letterbox bought from Toolstation, size is small. Cheap as tat, belongs in the rubbish bins of history.
Quality was not the best so reordered a better one
Good quality and easy to fit, we’ve put it on the back of our front door. It’s great quality at a great price. Recommended.
the item was left in the place I'd requested - well packaged and prompt delivery - very pleased!
Hoping this would stop draughts, but to many gaps when fitted.
I bought this letter flap and was very please with the service and the produced
I bought two of these to replace an external cover that had broken and to cover the internal hole ( letterbox is in a brick wall). Although listed as internal, reforms very well when exposed to th elements and in fact screwed straight into the broken external fitting making a much better seal. A brilliant bit of kit, I am really happy with it especially at the price!
