I installed this emergency spot light in a museum exhibition to replace an old type that had failed. This Integral light is so much lighter and easier to handle than the old failed unit. The new light has been in for 6 months now, still working as it should do.
First plugged in the battery but no lights shown. Nearly sent it back but then connected the mains, turned off and it started working. Nothing in the instructions about that, in fact virtually no text just a ot of diagrams. There's a picture of a test button, but it's not fitted on my light fitting, only an indicator light. No description of what the self-test/ auto switch does.
