I've always favored British can lights for their quality, and this particular one stands out in both aesthetics and its canless design. The latter aspect allows the heat from the light bulb to escape and hence should prolong its lifetime.
For oversized existing holes, an adapter ring by the same brand is even available (albeit sold separately) and does retain the aesthetics of the fixture. I have a 95mm hole which is indeed oversized - and this perfectly solves the problem.
Given I have already fitted it at home in China, I do hope this will last beyond my lifetime!
Good produt overall, but spring terminals aren't reliable. Easy to swap out for wago or choc block.

Really smart downlight, easy to fit and loop multiples together due to dual push fit terminals. Nice matt powder coated finish and ultra slim bezel, a shame to hide them away behind a bespoke wall light.
