Great service at Filton Dylan(I think that was his name ) knowledgeable, very customer focussed and a superb manner. Good at offering alternatives as product I wanted was obsolete. Nothing too much trouble. Dylan is a real asset to Toolstation

Unfortunately the lamp doesn't quite fit properly into our ceiling light fitting.
Just the right light, my bathroom wallights failed with 4w warm white installed from new, replaced with 3w cool white bulbs supplied by toolstation, the lighting is a much nicer light, without being too bright.
These bulbs are dimmable, so were a bit more pricey , although i didnt need that, im well happy with my purchase.
Bought 3 of these bulbs 2 were the same but lit up different and the other was completely odd to the others much longer in length. You need look closely at picture. Been Xmas I couldn’t be bothered taking back and my partner hasn’t noticed.
Had to get rid of a flickering G9 lamp in a bathroom fitting. The original was from years back, 1st generation LED. No sign of power, lumens or even colour. So plumped for this one first,middle of the road 3W (2.7 on the carton.) 4000K. Plugged it into the socket and it dropped out. This bulb only has thin wires as contacts. The original had full metal flat pins. So subtle bending was required to fit the slots in the socket and Bob's your uncle. The lamp is slightly dimmer than others on fitting and a tad bluer but with the shade on you can barely see a difference. Saved me going for the brighter bulb from the other fix outlet. Lets see how long the origami on the wire contacts performs.

Bought for a customer, who were very pleased with the lights, needed 4 bought 5 so one was spare, after 6 months one had failed so replaced with spare, a few months later all but one were flickering and working intermittently. Only get a 6 month warranty on them according to Toolstation.
Wrong bulb supplied, not as described, wrong wattage wrong size,nothing like the one pictured,staff unable to give advice

Not the cheapest, but a quality item. Gives a bright, pleasant light and works well with the dimmer when needing more subdued lighting
