Easy to install. Good size box for wiring. Good size of cover plate. Work well in en-suite.
Just the job to replace old fittings in an 85mm cutout. Simple to wire, no screwdrivers needed.
I find these very easy to fit and the relatively broad bezel is good at hiding damage to plasterwork, particularly on older installations where the previous halogen fittings have been pulled out frequently to replace drivers etc. Quality control is a bit random. In a recent batch of 14 one was missing the built in earth and needed to be replaced, while another had a totally different (and very fiddly) black junction box design. Would buy again.
Looks fine, would buy again, easy to fit, recommended by our electrician
Very easy to install straightforward wiring and work well
No problem for DIYer, I changed the downlight from GU5.3. to GU10 to get rid of the transformer. This serve my purpose and quick and easy replacement.
Wide bezel so covered an untidy hole when i took the old light out
Replacements for existing down lights. Needed a wider bezel and these were perfect. Easy to fit too.
Porch interior downlight spot. Easy to fit, adaptable, quality.
Great product that was super simple to install and no tools required.
Very easy to install, not even a screwdriver required. Larger than standard bezel hides scruffy holes yet is still discrete due to being only 1mm deep.
Great service with very competitive prices. Very prompt.
Bought these as they were the widest besel size i couple find. The spring mechanism from the older style pot downlights had and continued to rip the plasterboard ceiling. These are great in that the cover the large hole damage and the spring is strong enough to hold the lights in but not rip the plasterboard.
Well made and a breeze to install thanks to the wago like connectors which include a loop out
Easy install look nice and neat fire 🔥 protect as well so happy days .
The reason why not 5tars not had installed for a year and still a bit price
These were one of only 3 which we could fit to cover ragged holes left in our ceiling. The others were either too big or integrated, much more powerful, and more expensive. So chose EvoFire so that we could use our existing Bulbs. There is not much to them - a face plate, a spring clip to hold the bulb, which is quite flimsy, springs to hold the unit in the ceiling, which could be stronger and bulb-holder/connector. The connector sounds good - push in with piano keys, but it's very small and trying to get 6 wires in all at the same time with a very short cable in the ceiling hole is a challenge. They are all in and working fine, but our bulbs have a domed lens, so will not sit properly in the recess in the face plate, and buying another 6 bulbs pushes the price above good value. Overall, only moderately happy.
great value for money, afforadble, modern. Great addition to our lighting system! definitely recommend!
Great product, used to replace 5 spots in a bathroom. I am a DIYer and it took 25 mins. The push in terminals are so easy and the terminal box easily accommodates loop cables. The retaining springs are easy to locate yet hold the fitting in place perfectly. All very different from past experiences with tiny terminals, undersized cable entries and retaining springs which can take your fingers off
I needed an ip65 rated fitting which was big enough to cover up a large hole from the previous fitting. Most new fittings are quite small diameter - this was perfect for the job and sensible price. Don't forget you need to buy a bulb as it's not included
Good quality, easy to install. Lamp is held secure by a good clip. Quick connect piano terminals make wiring simple. Ideal if you want to replace an old downlights with a 100mm cutout
