Lovely modern looking light, sensor works well too. So far so good and lights the intended area well.
These lights look good and work for a few months, but after some time they start to flicker and creates a strobe effect. Not worth the money
It’s a nice light, unfortunately it went wrong and saw Toolstation had this for a bargain £20 (think if must be end of stock) unfortunately when I went to collect it it was impossible to find so I was given a refund- unhappy!
These lights keep flicking after about 10 weeks, have changed them several times, won't be buying again
Bought a pair of these Integral LED Curve PIR outdoor wall lights but after abt 14 months one of the units started flickering then eventually stopped working altogether and now, less than 24m since purchase (Jan 24), the other is also on the way out. This is more than disappointing for a pair of LED lighting units which I expected to last for many years. Interesting that other reviews report same issue. Unless the manufacturer has the upgraded electronics inside, this light unit should be removed to Toolstation listings.
After 12 months (1 winter) out of 6 lights, only 1 now turns on but only flickers like a strobe light at a disco.
Great looking modern LED outside light. Internal wiring could be made a little easier to connect power cable, especially when cable slack is limited. Overall really pleased with the PIR light and would certainly considering buying this brand again.
Great modern PIR outside light, so good I went back and bought a third! 😉
Basically you have to drill through the wall from the back, that is your only option. Light seems ok.
Bought as a replacement, easy wiring and well made, LED lighting way better than old fashioned bulbs
Nice tidy light , easy to fit although an alternative top or side hole for the wire would have been useful , had to drill in the top for the wire , otherwise works well , fitted it for my father in law and he's very happy with it , just lighhts his doorway up , not the whole street .
Great product, would highly recommend it. Installed with no stress
Looks smart and seems to be working well. Useful for lighting up the steps from the garage.
Looks good and provides light where I need it, on the ground without dazzling me
Fitted two of these to replace very old carriage style lights. Relatively easy to put up. I find it significantly easier to add a few cms of the three wires stripped from 1.5mm lighting cable. Connect one end to the light, put strip connectors at the house end and connect those to the mains cable. Make sure to put green/yellow sleeve on the earth wire. The light sensitivity (how dark outside before will activate I believe) and duration on are easy to adjust but you’ll find not precise. However a few seconds either way doesn’t harm. I like that the light emitted is broadly downwards, stops affecting my neighbour compared to previous lights. The PIR doesn’t pick me up if I walk right under the light but is ok about a metre out. Overall a smart efficient replacement light.
Just come home from tool station Reading this light was only 10 months old and it started the strobing problem and was told it can not be returned not happy do not buy this light.
I fitted a pair of these about eight months ago - since then one has failed due to the well-documented strobing problem (see other reviews) and has had to be returned for a replacement unit. Not acceptable quality for a light in this price bracket. Overall build quality seems fine, but the weatherproof sealing gasket does not provide a perfect seal. It would have also helped if the instructions had explained that the lux and timing adjustment can be accessed by rotating the PIR lens on the front of the light, rather than having to work that out for myself. Overall it looks smart but I'm not convinced it will meet its IP rating and it clearly has some reliability problems. We'll have to see how long it lasts. I probably wouldn't buy again.
Well made. Looks tidy and modern. Fiddly to fit (easier with 2 people) but worth the effort.
This is a great light - easy to install, works nicely, and the timing and lux controls are easy to reach. I used a spring latch and some short wires to make it easy to fit.
The light mounted easily, the cable entry is a bit tight. It emits a warm light so doesn’t dazzle. It replaced a up and down light with reflector which seemed to attract spiders and their web making, this light doesn’t and is so easy to keep clean.
