Does the job quick delivery good price and availabily
It seems very effective at killing all types of flies however I read somewhere that it was loud, someone referenced a dog being frightened and I thought, daft dog. However I can confirm that it is like training for living on the streets of Compton Los Angeles, there is a loud crack each and every time, satisfying but equivalent to the largest member in your family doing their best clap. I think it is because this unit is much lighter than the one it replaced so it echoes. This is why it gets three stars.
This is an excellent piece of kit. We have been plagued for many weeks with large bluebottle type flies. We have left the Fly Killer on overnight and the results are terrific. Don’t really want to take photos of the dead blighter’s but hope they rest in peace (not).
The wires on the electric grid are too far apart. Flys happily walk across them all day. Having the bulbs on both sides also means flys will sit on the bulb and not go near the electric grid. The bulbs need to be on one side only.
