This radiator valve is currently fitted to an existing radiator and it works fine.
It does what it says on the tin, as it should.

The wrong photo is shown on the Toolstation website (presumably a previous version) and I have reduced my star rating because of this, although there is nothing wrong with this product and I had no problems with it (it works well). What was supplied was an inline valve with 15mm compression fittings at both ends, plus a separate 15mm to 1/2" BSPT radiator tail, which can be used to connect it to a radiator. Other reviews going back at least 3 years mention that the photo is wrong, so Toolstation should have corrected this photo error a long time ago.

It's a radiator valve, as easy to instal as any, it turns on and off.
Ordered this with urgency at the end of a total bathroom refurb.
Came to refit the original towel rail to find one valve jammed closed.
Looked at catalogue and ordered click and collect.
The cat and online both showed the larger end fitting and said 15mm.
When I collected found that both ends were 15mm...not one end 15mm and the other rad connection end bigger....as shows in Photo.
So had to be refunded and then search again in-store through catalogue with the Toolstation staff bringing nearly every valve available to front desk....untill we eventually found the correct valve.
Beware of photos and info in catalogue and online.
Some are not quite what they appear.

I was pleasantly surprised to find that the valves I received differed in design from the catalogue/online illustration insofar as the valve body had two 15mm compression ends plus a loose 15mm to 1/2" BSPT radiator tail, making the valve far more versatile, in my opinion.
I had been trying to locate an isolator valve with a high enough temperature rating at a reasonable price for use with a central heating system. It would seem that the majority of valves on sale as 'isolator valves' are rated for a maximum temp of 80C, which is a bit of a close call for a C/H system operating in the region of this figure.
This Toolstation valve fits the bill perfectly! Naturally, its flow rate is somewhat lower than a conventional isolator valve and certainly far less than a 'full-bore' 15mm design, but for the purpose that I intended to employ it, it was perfect!
