A fine tap and happy with it now it's installed. The problem was with the installation, rather than it being a simple like for like Ideal Standard replacement, the pipes were reversed on the new tap! and resulted in complete new pipe work in a confined space behind the bath. Also worth noting it is fine quality and quite a large and heavy tap.
The tap handle came off and the piping was the wrong way round. Once this had been corrected by my plumber then all good
