Have to drill holes to accept cables. Ver poor design
I needed a way to replace a ceiling rose which was wired on a 'loop-in' circuit and thought this would do the trick. Unfortunately the terminals and cable strain relief clamps are very small and would not accommodate all three 1.5mm cables.
Aside it not being suitable for my scenario, for me, the biggest issue with the design is the cable strain relief clamps. They are a small hinged pieces of plastic that latch in to place using plastic teeth, but if you flex or bend the box they have a tendency to unlatch of their own accord.
Inexpensive, does the job, a bit fiddly to close up but otherwise good value.
Easy to use, cheap as chips product. Works brilliantly.
Lightweight but nice design with integral cable clips. The terminal block is a bit fiddly to use because it only accepted my smallest screwdriver and despite being integral to the box lid, was also quite wobbly, so it tricky to nip-up tightly without a 3rd hand.

I'm a carpenter. I know, I know, I shouldn't be messing around with electricity. In the workshop, we have some lights which run from a fused switch. I needed to add a couple of additional lights as as the storage area has been reduced to make more workshop area.
These boxes make it easy for even a woodbutcher such as myself to safely join wires and run a spur to a newlight.

A handy little connector box with 4 terminals. Used it to extend a suspended pre wired led strip light which the cable did not reach the ceiling rose.
Slightly updated choc box making it easier and quicker to use.
Nice & easy to use, very clever design of keyhole flaps that are moulded on back & you unclip & fold out to use plus again very clever design of cable holders at each end that just flap down & clip in! im sold & hope you will be too? & so cheap you just cant complain, thanks yet again Toolstation. (hope i get a reply from Toolstation like others do for giving such a good writeup!)

Super, simple little product that makes connections in cabling quick and easy and hides them from view.
Pretty useless item very difficult to to open or close and a slot had to cut in to get the wires in.

Practical, compact and easy to use. The four connectors make it easy to have a 3core + earth wiring, that can be used as either separate switching extensions. Also ideal for two way and intermediate lighting.

The box is made of soft flexible plastic. The choc box is too small tried to connect a lighting wire and a V-tec light in the same box. Wires will not fit on the connector hole. They have there place, but not again for me.
