Product working well on new gates
For new front gate. Last pair had severe rust damage after 40 yrs so hope this pair will last a bit longer as they are galvanised.
Easy to fit and managed to get more life out of the old stable door by replacing one of the original 100 year old hinges that had broken
States flush fit, but that’s only sideways on, was expecting to use as robust shed hinges
Excellent hinges for the side gate, no rust or maintenance needed for a long time thanks to the galvanising.
One of the hooks was not welded parallel to the plate.

These clearly are not carefully zinc plated and quality cut hinges, but they do the job perfectly. Great value for outside gate hinges...it's just not necessary at all for me for them to be absolutely pristine ..the zinc is good and the hinges really sturdy indeed. What more do you ask for. Actually needed cranked ones so had to buy some more, but am not complaining. Keeping these for another gate.
Strong hinges. Both are very similarly made so no fettling required to make them match when installed.

Very good value. Good enough for your average garden gate application. Toolstation use different suppliers so some hinges have different hole centres. Because of the great price I can forgive small quality issues. Just under 5mm thick steel over the galv. Square hole takes an m10 coach bolt. I didn't use the wall plates this time because they were existing, strengthened ones. This type of wall plate can have a tendency to bend in the middle.
Great latch at an incredible price. Does exactly what it says on the tin.
This looks and feels strong and being galvanised it should last well in our salt air by the sea.
