Great item, just the ticket for my overly long garden gate. Heavy duty, large and heavy. Just remember to buy some large (wide) headed screws, to secure these monsters in place. Would definitely buy again.
Built to last,super strong hinges brought for heavy timber gates.
Useless without fixings, return process was simple enough.
Without these my gates would have been a fence....

Nice chunky solid hinges for a gate. i used them on a 3 foot gate that people keep climbing over. Bit of overkill but does the job.
A couple of holes to pop a bolt or pin above the pivot would help so stopping the gate being lifted off.
Value for money strong hut or gate hinge . These have quite a good depth of zinc coating so I expect them to last longer than the actual wooden door they were for .

This is the first negative review that I have left about a product as I am generally very happy with the products and the staff at the Worcester branch, I needed a pair of gate hinges and as Worcester was oos I saw that Droitwich branch had a set so ordered online the drive 8 miles to collect them, when I got them in the car I noticed the pack was stapled after being previously opened, it was very obvious that these hinges had previously been fitted with deep marks where the bolts fit, wood stain on the back etc.. why this branch accepted the used item as a return then resold an obviously used product is just wrong, I paid for a new unused product not used and second hand, needless to say I returned them straight away (to be sold to someone else no doubt) I’ll continue to shop at Worcester as they have never let me down..
Good solid bracket. Remember, if you want the gate to be flush to the post or frame then you need offset hinge. The offset kicks the gate alignments back in by the amount of the hinge post to keep gate flush. Probably telling you how to suck eggs, but just incase you didnt know.
