Seems a quality bit of kit. Does what is expected of it. Installed by a qualified electrician who said it was pretty straightforward.
The Honeywell T4 is a programmable "dumb" thermostat.
Good: lots of options including 5/2, everyday the same or everyday different; choice of 4 or 6 time periods per day; simple to install.
Less good: no screws or wall plugs included in box so you have to find those yourself; the programming info is split into "customer instructions" and "installer parameters" but really it's all the same; Info on one of the parameters (8) is missing something you have to search the internet (it enables a remote sensor so don't set it if there isn't one!); The compartment for the wires is very small so if you have extra wires they can't easily be capped off.
Still. once installed it does it's job well.
Worked out of box initially but after going through configuration stopped working eventually traced issue to a parameter not mentioned in the paperwork that i had changed.
Once reset to original all working fine.
For reference it was option 8 paperwork goes from 7 to 9 but all in all very happy with it as replacement
Really pleased with this thermostat, which was easy to install, set up and use. It functions really well and it keeps the house at a much more even temperature because the gaps between off and on are closer together in temperature terms. This seems to have reduced oil consumption with out oil combi boiler. I would definitely recommend this product.

Bought this to replace a Honeywell CM67 two wire unit, effectively a straight swap as even the screw holes lined up and from opening the box it was fitted in under 10 minutes. Modern flat which retains heat well, so just being used on the boost function that’s really simple once you get your head around the instructions. Very happy with this and far simpler to use than the unit it replaced.

The Honeywell T4 was straightforward to install, with clear instructions. The display is easy to read.
Our old Honeywell CM907 screen became faulty and difficult to read. I bought the T4 to replace it. The replacement was relatively straightforward - the screw holes in the backplate are in the same place - and the fitting instructions are clear. The new T4 looks good, works fine and at least we can now read the screen.
Bought to replace an older model, the screw holes and connections all lined up perfectly and the footprint was the same, so no decorating to do.
Programing is as simple or as complicated as you need it to be, and the price is excellent.
