Bought the DT2 thermostat as it looked clear and simple to use. Connected it, and was disappointed when there was "NO BACKLIGHT". This made it difficult for me as I have a particular eye sight problem!!!. No clear indication on instructions as to whether it had a backlight. Checked on the internet and it said it did. Contacted Toolstaion and was told to make checks myself.
Returned the TD2 and had a replacement.This too had no "back light". It clear to me that both DT2's had previously returned because of faults and re sold still faulty. This not only very bad practice, it us very stupid, I would now never buy anything from Toolstion. 2nd DT2 returned and had a refund.
Looks worse than previousl items and makesva large click. The previous one failed so I'm not buying Honeywell again.

Easy to install and use and good user operation functionality
A replacement for a previous model and very straightforward swap without the need to even change the two wires over as the terminal block can be removed and replaced in the new unit.
Good product and easy to use
Getting it out of the box was easy. Taking it apart to fix to the wall was impossible. Front is clipped to the back and clips were on the verge of snapping when after 20 minutes I got it apart. Instructions not clear as to whether it's switched on or off!
Bought this as my previous one had failed and was no longer being made, it was reasonably priced and so far is doing the job.
It was straight forward to connect and although slightly different to the previous one was an easy fit!
So easy to replace with old model does exactly what it says on the tin
Front cover keep dropping down, catch very weakly made.
Nice and easy to install easy to use and very accurate looks good and a reasonable price. I recommend this thermostat. The eco function comes in handy as well.

It does what it says but there is some programming to sort out!
Couldn't have improved service, however a better full specification would help when searching on line. I had to contact Honeywell for the info I required as your description did not include what I needed.
Replaced an 18 year old mechanical timer with this thermostat and it works really well to maintain temperature. Already have a programmer so just wanted a straight forward user friendly device Only needs the live and live out to wire it up - neutral and earth not required. Eco button handy during the night.
