Wrong head on the valve the head that was on the body was for a two port valve and this is a three port zone valve it took a while to realise the wire colours were wrong
Direct replacement for existing one that had worn out. New one so far functions well. Wiring...took one wire out at a time and replaced with new one...same colours.
Bought this to replace a faulty one, ordered it on Thursday came on Friday, but didn’t get a text to tell me it had arrived, good job I was passing and called in!
Replaced old faulty 3 way valve for new Honeywell valve, straight swap making job easier.
A straight swap over with the seized one i found myself with. Was tempted to buy the cheaper option but, after reading other reviews, decided to play it safe and buy this one. Once fitted (quick and easy) the water and heating worked as they should.
My existing valve / actuator stopped working late afternoon on 23rd of December having got stuck on the midway position we had to heat up the hot water at the same time as heating up the house. When the new valve arrived a couple of days after Christmas it swapped in fairly easily with standard colour coded wiring. The most difficult job was to drain down the system. Its been working for over three weeks now and is virtually inaudible in operation. The previous one made a whine as it changed from water to heating. The only negative thing is that the silver coloured bit looks like an unfinished product with folded metal edges and screw/bolt heads protruding.
Very pleased with this item and is now installed and working a treat
Fitted corgi replacement. Made hammering noise when calling for heating. Replaced it and same thing but not as bad. Fitted Honeywell sorted. Buy cheap buy twice drain down system 3 times !!!
A very reliable valve my issue turned out to be the thermostat but kept the vavle as old one moved very slowly.
Works OK, seems a little costly
In stock at a good price, convenient as it was cold that night
Replaced an existing unit that had been there for at least 6 years
Installed before we purchased property
Replacement very simple
Now working as it should
Good quality, easy to fit.
It points the water the right way like the old one didn't
Good product, always use these
. Works well and integrated with other fittings
Bought this as old one had gone plumber had it fitted in about fifteen minutes works well
Had to buy this for plumber to fit as our old one had gone, he fixed it in about twenty minutes and all was well, glad I went for the more expensive one
