This stuff couldn’t strip the skin off a rice pudding. I’ve worked in the Furnitue restoration trade for years and used various strippers, although this one is environmentally friendly which is why I decided to try it, and is oderless, it doesn’t actually strip most paints and lacquers ether. It will lightly soften the surface of some if applied liberally and left for over an hour but not worth the hassle. The only paint it will touch is acrylic which with a bit of elbow grease you could probably remove with soap and hot water just as easily. I can’t believe I’ve spent almost £15 on a tub of slime! Yet another modern product that doesn’t do what it says on the tin! Absolute rubbish!!!
Was using it outdoors in low temperature to strip paint from metal. Not much bubbling off the paint, but a scraper blade removed the paint well after applying the remover for 2 hours. Did the job.
Don’t waste your money on this product. Left for longer than the suggested time, may as well have poured water on it. It would probably do a better job than this crap.
This product must be in breech of the Trades Description Act. It is at best, USELESS. It does not work
Never used paint stripper before and was amazed by how effective it is. So much quicker than sanding back!
I like that it's eco and reasonably safe. It doesn't smell bad like others.
I did find it only really worked if I caked it on and left it for long enough (more than an hour), but not so long that it dries out.
Although the product didn't explicitly list powder coated frames, it suggested it worked on all paints. It doesn't!
Pleasant to use. 2 coats shifted a single layer clean
Does not do what it says on the tin. Applied as per the instructions and didn't work. Ended up scraping the paint off with a heat gun, instead.
Was sceptical, as not used this before. My sceptiscim proved correct. Used on a water based gloss paint, and applied liberally, but wouldn't touch it. Ended up using a heat gun. Taking back for a refund.
...on the plastic pot.
Easy to use, gives good results.
Very pleased and did the job well. The existing paint was thick and had been on years. Removed with one application.
Ok but didn’t get the brickwork clean. Had to use a scraper to get most off.
It’s ok don’t think I would purchase again however, it sort of works as long as the paint doesn’t have too many layers.
Not the best stuff done a little bit but had to find something different
Does the job but not as quickly and easy as they say.
This is a safe use product but does struggle a little with older lead based paint.
Very poor results. Won’t try to use again. Ended up buying a different brand product which I should have done in the first place.
Followed the instructions described on the box and managed to remove paint from slabs in my garden. Took couple attempts but got there at the end. Would recommend.
Left on brick for 15 to 20 mins. Tried 1hr but it dried up so did it small section by section. I used a metal bristle brush to rub/ scrape off the paint from the brick. Very strong smell
